    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure which can surely bring about a water-sealed state after installation without being damaged in the installation of a segment.
      SOLUTION: A main girder 5 of a K-segment 1 is provided with a groove 3. Additionally, a pipe 11 is provided in the main girder 5 so as to communicate with the groove 3 via an opening 12 of a bottom surface 4 of the groove 3. A check valve 13 is provided in the pipe 11, and a sealing material 7 is formed in the groove 3 in such a manner as not to protrude from a surface position 6 of the main girder 5. An outer edge of the sealing material 7 is fixed to the bottom surface 4 of the groove 3, and an insulation material 9 is provided between the vicinity of the opening 12 of the bottom surface 4 and the sealing material 7. After the K-segment 1 is installed between the segments 15, a filler 19 is infilled into the groove 3 via the check valve 13 and the pipe 11, and the sealing material 7 is protruded from the surface position 6 and brought into contact with the segment 15, so that the water sealing can be applied to a section between the K-segment 1 and the segment 15.

Each base 2 is formed of: a base member 13 which has slide surfaces and an abutted portion 17; slide members 14a, 14b which are connected to the widening sections, arranged slidably along the slide surface, and have abutting portions 27 for abutting on the abutted portion 17 when the segment is contracted; a reinforcing member 15 penetrated into the abutted portion 17 and the abutting portion 27 to resist the bending deformation of the base 2; and first cavity blocks 40 interposed between the abutted portion 17 and the abutting portions 27 when the segment is widened. The reinforcing member 15 is formed of a rectangular plate member, and the first cavity blocks 40 are arranged adjacently to the reinforcing member 15.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alteration method for a tunnel section by which a filler is positively prevented from flowing out from an overbreak section and is diffused into a cutting-face-side or a natural ground till a segment is widened, and the filler can be positively recovered without being mixed with earth in moving the widening segment into an overbreak section, and a segment.
      SOLUTION: The widening segment ring 13 with its outer diameter coinciding with a normal segment ring 15 is set to the inside of the pile 3 having the over-break section 21 filled with a filler 16. The filler 17 is filled in the bag body 19 fixed to the outer peripheral surface 12 of the widening segment 11. Then, the bag body 19 is expanded so as to allow its outside surface 20 to be along the pile walls 22 of the overbreak section 21. Furthermore, the widening segment 11 is moved in the tunnel outer peripheral direction and mounted within the over-break section 21, while pulling out the filler 17 from the bag body 19, to remove the temporary section 25 of the widening member 23 provided to the inner peripheral surface 10 of the widening segment 11 to complete the tunnel widening section.

The interlocking member 20 is biased by a plate spring in the direction of being pressed into the cutout part 18. When the joint rod 9 is inserted into the housing 16, it moves beyond the interlocking member 20 by moving it toward the outside of the cutout part 18 with the head part 13 against the biasing force of the plate spring, and the interlocking member 20 is interlocked with the interlocking recess 12.
