    • The present invention provides a mixing faucet that can use a low-cost temperature sensing spring. A mixing faucet (1) includes a casing (2) having a hot water inlet opening (24), a cold water inlet opening (23), and an outlet opening (28); a control valve element (3) slidably mounted in the casing (2) and capable of switching between any one of a cold water discharge state, a mixed water discharge state, and a hot water discharge state; a temperature adjusting screw (7) rotatably disposed at one end in the casing (2); a slider (6) sliding in the casing (2) through rotation of the temperature adjusting screw (7); a bias spring (5) disposed in the casing (2), between the control valve element (3) and the slider (6), and biasing the control valve element (3) toward the cold water inlet opening (23); a temperature sensing spring (4) which biases, in the casing (2), the control valve element (3) toward the hot water inlet opening (24), and the elastic force of which changes in accordance with changes in the temperature of hot water flowing in the casing (2); and a pull-up spring (10) for biasing the control valve element (3) toward the hot water inlet opening (24) in the cold water discharge state and in the mixed water discharge state.

    • The hot and cold water mixing valve having a cylindrical casing is provided with a control valve member which adjusts a ratio between hot and cold water inlets by balancing loads applied by a biasing member and an actuator, and cylindrical temperature adjuster which adjusts a position of the control valve member when rotated. In the temperature adjuster, an upper surface is formed at one end, a knob is provided in the center of the upper surface, and a ring-shaped recess is formed around the knob at the upper surface. The temperature adjuster is arranged inside the casing and the knob is inserted, coaxially with the casing, into the hole which opens at one end of the casing. A spacer which covers the recess is interposed and held between the upper surface of the temperature adjuster and one end of the casing.

    • A hot water-water mixing faucet holds a control valve body in a balanced position between a bias spring and a temperature-sensitive coil spring. An adjusting screw 6a supports the bias spring in an axial direction to change setting of the supporting position of the bias spring, and a rear end side of the bias spring is supported by a supporting member which is formed separately from the adjusting screw. The supporting member is slidably inserted in the axial direction into a through-hole provided on the adjusting screw and is connected detachably to the adjusting screw by an abutting section provided in an area protruding from the through-hole toward the bias spring side. A lifting spring biases the supporting member to pull the supporting member back toward the side opposite to the bias spring to the adjusting screw 6a.

    • [Problem] To improve durability of a hot and cold water mixing valve.[Means to Solve the Problem] The hot and cold water mixing valve having a cylindrical casing 1 is provided with a control valve member 2 which adjusts an opening/closing ratio between a hot water inlet a and a cold water inlet b, by balancing between loads applied by a biasing member 4 and an actuator 5, and cylindrical temperature adjusting means 8 and 9 which adjusts a position of the control valve member 2 when subjected to rotation by a user. In the temperature adjusting means 8 and 9, an upper surface 81 is formed at one end, a knob 82 is provided in the center of the upper surface 81, and a ring-shaped recess 83 is formed around the knob 82 at the upper surface 81. The temperature adjusting means 8 and 9 are arranged inside the casing 1 such that the knob 83 is inserted, coaxially with the casing 1, into the hole 12 which opens at one end of the casing 1. A spacer 100 which covers the recess 83 formed at the upper surface 81 is interposed and held between the upper surface 81 of the temperature adjusting means and one end of the casing 1.
