    • To provide means for improving sensation of hair in application of a hair cosmetic composition, particularly a hair conditioner, after washing of the hair. The present inventors have found that the object can be attained by a hair cosmetic composition containing the following ingredients (1) to (4): (1) a hydroxyetheramine compound represented by formula (I) in an amount of 0.01 to 10 mass % with respect to the hair cosmetic composition: wherein R1 represents a C6 to C24 linear or branched alkyl group or alkenyl group, R2 represents a C2 to C6 linear or branched hydroxyalkylene or hydroxyalkylenyl group, and R3 and R4, which are identical to or different from each other, each represent a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C6 linear alkyl group; (2) a higher alcohol and/or a higher fatty acid in an amount of 0.1 to 20 mass % with respect to the hair cosmetic composition; (3) an organic acid having an aromatic ring skeleton; and (4) water.

    • To provide means for improving tactile sensation of hair during application of a hair cosmetic composition, particularly a hair conditioner or a hair rinse, after washing of the hair. The present inventors have found that the object can be attained by a hair cosmetic composition containing the following ingredients (1) to (5): (1) a tertiary amine compound represented by formula (I) in an amount of 0.01 to 10 mass % with respect to the hair cosmetic composition: wherein R1 represents a C6 to C24 linear or branched alkyl group, A represents an amido or ether group, R2 represents a C2 to C4 alkylene group, or a C2 to C4 linear or branched hydroxyalkylene or hydroxyalkylenyl group, and R3 and R4, which are identical to or different from each other, each represent a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C3 linear or branched alkyl group; (2) a higher alcohol and/or a higher fatty acid in an amount of 0.1 to 20 mass % with respect to the hair cosmetic composition; (3) an aromatic carboxylic acid salt; (4) a monobasic organic acid; and (5) water.

    • The present invention provides a mixing faucet that can use a low-cost temperature sensing spring. A mixing faucet (1) includes a casing (2) having a hot water inlet opening (24), a cold water inlet opening (23), and an outlet opening (28); a control valve element (3) slidably mounted in the casing (2) and capable of switching between any one of a cold water discharge state, a mixed water discharge state, and a hot water discharge state; a temperature adjusting screw (7) rotatably disposed at one end in the casing (2); a slider (6) sliding in the casing (2) through rotation of the temperature adjusting screw (7); a bias spring (5) disposed in the casing (2), between the control valve element (3) and the slider (6), and biasing the control valve element (3) toward the cold water inlet opening (23); a temperature sensing spring (4) which biases, in the casing (2), the control valve element (3) toward the hot water inlet opening (24), and the elastic force of which changes in accordance with changes in the temperature of hot water flowing in the casing (2); and a pull-up spring (10) for biasing the control valve element (3) toward the hot water inlet opening (24) in the cold water discharge state and in the mixed water discharge state.

    • It is an object of the invention to provide a hair cleanser that has a high cleansing effect on hairdressing preparation and can provide smoothness to the hair.A hairdressing preparation cleanser comprising: (a) a component with the IOB value of 0.6 to 1.5; (b) a cationic polymer; and (c) a sequestering agent. It is preferable that said component with the IOB value of 0.6 to 1.5 is one or a combination of more than one selected from the group consisting of random alkylene oxide derivatives, and said cationic polymer is one or a combination of more than one selected from the group of starch hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, cationized hydroxyethyl cellulose-2, polyquaternium-39, and polyquaternium-7. It is preferable that citric acid and triethanolamine are additionally contained.

    • The body of an automatic water combination faucet has, as separate parts, an outer cylinder with the cylindrical wall thereof having assembling hole portions for assembling connectors connected to the hot water, water and combination water lines and an inner cylinder housing accommodating a mixing valve unit. A separate cap which surrounds an adjustment screw unit of the mixing valve unit is engagedly coupled to the main portion. The peripheral wall of the main portion has an opening for leading in water.
