    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low temperature mold and a low pressure casting method, which uses a mold of a low temperature to allow low pressure casting, resulting in a fine system of a casting, while capable of manufacturing a hollow thin-wall casting of meter size.SOLUTION: The average inner surface temperature of a cavity part of a mold is 250°C or lower, while the inner surface temperature at a pouring opening of the mold is 350°C or higher. A powder mold-releasing agent is applied on the inner surface of the cavity part of the mold by 1-10g per 1m. The hollow part of a hollow core installed in the cavity is exhausted to the outside of the mold through an opening part of a base board while the inside space of a melting furnace is pressurized so that the cavity is filled with the molten metal in the melting furnace.
