摘要： Systems, methods, and instructions for rendering haptic effects in connection with marketing content, such as advertisements, are provided. Marketing content is displayed, and a user interaction is detected at or adjacent to the display. Haptic feedback is rendered that corresponds to and further enhances the marketing content. In some configurations, the haptic feedback is rendered at a user device that is communicatively coupled to the display. The haptic feedback is provided in connection with a variety of marketing media ( e.g. , billboards, tablets, printable media, etc.) and in real world and alternate reality environments.

摘要： In one example, hollow tubes (130) each having a spherical mass (140) inside are positioned between two plates (110, 120). Each plate can have a matrix of nodes (110a,120a) that mirrors the other plate. If the mass (140) is a ferromagnetic mass, then each node (110a, 120a) can have an electromagnetic coil such that the ferromagnetic mass. If the mass (140) is a conductive mass, then each node (110a, 120a) can be a conductive node. The conductive nodes can have the same type of charge or opposing charges. The conductive mass can be negatively charged, positively charged, or part can be positively charged and part negatively charged. Spring(s) can be between the mass (140) and the first plate (110) or between the mass (140) and the second plate (120), or both. Electric current(s) can be applied to a node (110a) in the first plate, a node (120a) in the second plate, or both, which causes the mass (140) to shift to output a haptic effect.
