    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power feeding system which is high in energy efficiency and can cope with a rapid load variation, and an electric propulsion ship.
      SOLUTION: The system includes target loads 1 requiring power, a plurality of generators 2 for supplying power to the target loads 1, drive sources 3 for driving the respective generators 2, rechargeable batteries 4 for accumulating the power generated by the generators 2, and a control means 5 for controlling the distribution of the power generated by the generators 2 and the charge and discharge of the rechargeable batteries 4. The control means 5 controls the number of generators 2 which are driven based on workloads of the target loads 1, and, until the number of generators 2 required for the workloads of the target loads 1 are driven after the number of driven generators 2 becomes deficient with respect to the workloads of the loading target 1, the control means supplies the power to the target loads 1 by using the rechargeable batteries 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use rolling of a vessel body for generating power.
      SOLUTION: A bilge section 2 of a vessel body 1 is equipped with, in a fore and aft direction, a plurality of pipes 3 each of which extends in a rolling direction of the vessel body 1 rolled about a rolling axis Or and communicates a bottom part with a lateral part below a draft line of the vessel. A hydraulic turbine part 5 of a propeller type hydraulic turbine generator 4 is disposed at a midway of each of the pipes 3. A generator body 6 of the hydraulic turbine generator 4 which is driven by output from each hydraulic turbine part 5 is disposed outside each pipe 3. If rolling of the vessel body 1 occurs when the vessel is running or is at anchor, each pipe 3 disposed in the bilge section 2 of the vessel body 1 reciprocates, under water, in a circumferential direction about the rolling axis Or, to thereby generate a relative water flow in each pipe 3. The water flow in each pipe 3 drives the hydraulic turbine part 5 of the hydraulic turbine generator 4, whose output makes the generator body 6 generate power.
