    • PURPOSE: To obtain stable sepn. performance by controlling the rotation of a rotary drum in such a manner that the circumferential speed of magnetic attraction members and the flow velocity of the activated sludge in a flow passage are made the same with a device for separating and recovering the activated sludge of an activated sludge liquid added with magnetic powder by magnetically attracting the activated sludge with the rotary drum having magnets. CONSTITUTION: The rotary drum 3 having the magnets is disposed to partly face the flow passage 1 where the activated sludge liquid A added with the magnetic powder flows. The rotary drum 3 is then rotated and the activated sludge B is magnetically attracted by its magnets, by which the liquid is separated to the activated sludge B and the treated water C. In such a case, the curved flow passage 1a is formed in the lower part of the rotary drum 3 and the outer periphery of the rotary drum 3 is provided with the magnetic attraction members 7. The upper part of the rotary drum 3 is provided with a scraping member for removing the activated sludge B. The flow rate of the activated sludge liquid A flowing in the flow passage 1 is detected by a flow rate sensor 41. The rotation of the rotary drum 3 is then so controlled by an automatic controller 43 for the number of revolutions in such a manner that the circumferential speed of the magnetic attraction members 7 and the flow velocity of the activated sludge liquid A in the flow passage 1 are made the same.

    • PURPOSE:To control a very small flow of a fluid having a low viscosity by inserting the forward end portion of a valve rod in a cylindrical nozzle portion continuously provided in connection with a conical surface in the center of a valve seat through a very small gap. CONSTITUTION:A casing 10 has an upper valve inlet chamber 12 and a valve outlet chamber 13 in the interior thereof, wherein a valve inlet 11 is provided on the valve inlet chamber 12 side surface, and a valve outlet 14 is provided on the base of the valve outlet chamber 13. The base 12a of the valve inlet 12 and the valve outlet chamber 13 are communicated with each other by a valve seat 3 and a cylindrical nozzle portion 4 provided following the valve seat 3. The forward end of a valve rod 1 is a conical valve element 2, and a round bar portion 2a is provided on the forward end portion of the valve element 2. The valve rod 1 is passed through the valve inlet chamber 12 from above the casing 10, and the valve element 2 and the round bar portion 2a are inserted in the valve seat 3 and the cylindrical nozzle portion 4.
