      SOLUTION: The stainless steel has a composition containing, by weight, 0.005 to 0.05% C, 0.10 to 0.50% Si, 0.05 to 0.50% Mn, 0.005 to 0.10% P, 0.20 to 0.35% S, 0.01 to 2.0% Cu, 0.01 to 2.0% Ni, 17.0 to 25.0% Cr, 0.01 to 1.0% Mo, 0.03 to 0.30% Pb, 0.01 to 0.10% Te, 0.003 to 0.010% B, 0.005 to 0.030% O and ≤0.030% N, and the balance substantially Fe with inevitable impurities, satisfying 0.30≤Mn/S≤1.50, 50≤Cr/Mn≤125, 0.04≤Te/S and 10≤S/O≤50, comprising ≥20% Cr as a constituting metallic element, and in which sulfides having a diameter of the equivalent circle of ≥2.0 μm and an acicular ratio of ≤10 are also present in ≥0.50% by area ratio.
