The eNB may receive, from a UE, uplink control information (UCI) that indicates a hybrid automatic repeat request identifier (HARQ ID) for a grant-less uplink (GUL) transmission by the UE during a first sub-frame. The eNB may select, from candidate HARQ IDs, a HARQ ID for a scheduled uplink (SUL) transmission by another UE in a second sub-frame after the first sub-frame. The eNB may, if the GUL transmission is successfully decoded, include the HARQ ID for the GUL transmission in the candidate HARQ IDs for the GUL transmission. The eNB may, if the GUL transmission is not successfully decoded, exclude the HARQ ID for the GUL transmission from the candidate HARQ IDs for the GUL transmission.

摘要： Techniques described herein include a channel access procedure, for devices operating in the unlicensed spectrum, that includes Listen-Before-Talk (LBT) and frequency hopping. A User Equipment (UE) may receive a Discovery Reference Signal (DRS) transmission that includes the cell ID of a Radio Access Network (RAN) node transmitting the DRS transmission. The UE may determine, based on the cell ID, a frequency hopping pattern used by the RAN node. The RAN node and the UE may communicate with one another based on the frequency hopping pattern. When transitioning to a new channel, the RAN node may perform a LBT procedure to ensure that the channel is already being used. If the new channel does not become available within a dwell time, the RAN node and UE may transition to the next channel in the channel hopping pattern.

The eNB may detect a downlink signal from an interferer eNB in an unlicensed channel. The eNB may determine a received power of the downlink signal. The eNB may determine, based at least partly on the received power, whether the interferer eNB is to refrain from downlink transmission during a period in which an uplink transmission from a User Equipment (UE) to the server eNB is scheduled. The eNB may transmit, in the unlicensed channel, a clear-to-send-to-self (CTS-to-self) message that indicates: a start time of the period, a duration of the period, and whether the interferer eNB is to refrain from downlink transmission during the period.

摘要： Systems and methods of compensating for interference in a 5G system are generally described. An Interference Measurement Resource (IMR) is present in multiple resource elements of a subframe or a combination of a ZP and NZP Tracking Reference Signal (PT-RS) are used. An IMR covariance matrix is applied to compensate for the interference. The number of IMR subcarriers and symbols between adjacent IMRs is dependent on the numerologies and synchronization within the UE network. When the IMR is in multiple subcarriers in the first symbol of the second slot, and the matrix is determined using the IMR rather than a DMRS. The DCI comprises a flag that denotes whether IMR is enabled for a current PDCH, and indicates the manner to use the IMR. The subcarrier index for the NZP PT-RS overlaps the subcarrier index for the ZP PT-RS of another UE or gNB.

Symbol blanking can be done for a first replica and further used to generate an LBT gap for UL access, or enable DL-to-UL / UL-to-DL switching. A starting indication can also be derived from the DL transmission comprising the partial symbol.

The control circuitry is configured to generate a physical random access channel (PRACH), wherein the PRACH includes a preamble for PRACH transmission using a license assisted access (LAA) secondary cell.
