摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric ottoman which can prevent damaging of clothes or stockings of a person to be seated by, for example, a screwed part of a side cover covering a reclining mechanism disposed on a side of a seat cushion, and to improve appearance. SOLUTION: A control lever 20, which is disposed so as to cover a screwed part of a side cover 16, operates an electric driving mechanism 10 including an electric motor 6 for driving an ottoman 4, which is disposed so as to rotate in a front end of a seat cushion 2. The control lever 20 is fitted to a rotating shaft of a rotary switch. By rotating the control lever 20, the electric motor 6 is driven in both directions for rotating the ottoman 4 between a contained position along a front end of the seat cushion 2 and a foot-resting position roughly parallel with a seating face of the seat cushion 2. A seat construction figure 21 is shown in the right of the control lever 20 of the side cover 16, wherein the control lever 20 is assumed as the ottoman 4.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an ottoman arranged at the front end side of a seat cushion, to secure a foot placing area at a position separated from the sheet cushion by a prescribed forward distance and to secure a front space at the step of a seated person. SOLUTION: A storing recessed part 2a is formed in the front end part of the seat cushion 2, and the ottoman 4 which is constituted of an ottoman main body 10 being forward turnable and of an auxiliary unit (sliding body) 12 arranged in it so as to be freely movable is stored in the storing recessed part 2a in an almost vertical state. The ottoman main body 10 is connected to a nut 24 screwed onto a screw shaft 23 constituting a linear movement mechanism 17 with a first link mechanism 9 which is provided with a main link 16, the auxiliary unit is supported by the ottoman main body 10 so as to be parallel movable by rotary links 25 and 26 constituting a second link mechanism 11 and the rotary link 25 is connected to a cushion frame 5 with a rotary link 28.
