    • The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyethylene naphthalate, comprising the steps of: esterifying 2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and ethylene glycol, or glycols using the two materials as major material to obtain prepolymer which comprises bis(beta-hydroxyethyl)naphthalate or low polymer as main material; and performing polycondensation reaction to thereby prepare polyethylene naphthalate. The process of the present invention has advantages of: enabling esterification with a low molar ratio of ethylene glycol to reduce reaction time, thereby increasing process efficiency; minimizing formation of side reaction products to improve properties; and preventing deterioration of the products by performing polycondensation at a low temperature to thereby obtain polyethylene naphthalate polymers of high quality.

    • An apparatus for feeding a foil of a printing machine with tension is disclosed, in which vacuum pressure is only applied to a part of a shaft through which a foil passes, and an outer surface in contact with the foil is rotated. The apparatus comprises a cylindrical shaft body provided with a plurality of holes on the outer surface; a sun roller provided based on the center of the shaft body, having a diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the shaft body; a plurality of pinion rollers closely adhered to one another between the sun roller and the inner surface of the shaft body; and a bearing stopper provided to seal both ends of the shaft body and connected with a pump to supply vacuum pressure to only a space formed by the shaft body, the sun roller and two of the pinion rollers.

    • A cutting apparatus of blade's raw material used in a paper blanking die for manufacturing paper box and the like and an automatic cutting system using this cutting apparatus. This cutting apparatus comprises: cutters more than two kinds having different cutting out or cutting off patterns arranged side by side laterally against a feeding direction of the blade's raw material; a cutter guiding section for guiding said each cutter so as to be able to perpendicularly move against a plane of said blade's raw material; a pressing means for perpendicularly moving and pressing any one of the cutters toward a plane of said blade's raw material; a cutter die for supporting said blade's raw material against the pressing force of said cutter and simultaneously interacting with said cutter whereby executing the cutting work of the blade's raw material; and a cutter selecting means for selecting such that only any one of said cutters is pressed by said pressing means. According to this, various cut patterns of the blade's raw material can be easily and exactly obtained in a single apparatus. And, complete automatization of the cutting work is attained by the automatic cutting system.

A cutting blade supplied from a transferring unit of the cutting blade is cut in a length suitable to a sheet matter molding configuration in a cutting molding unit adjacent thereto close-situated, simultaneously the cutting tip used in cutting is transferred together with the cutting blade to a folding device side through a guide member set which is to be contacted with the cutting molding unit, the cutting blade transferred to the folding device is folded in a predetermined shape by a folding member which performs a going-straight movement and a rotating movement, and thereby, at this time, the cutting tip is detached outside by a tare. Accordingly, a working efficiency and a productivity in the cutting and folding of the cutting blade are improved and increased.
