SOLUTION: The objective isolated nucleic acid molecule contains (i) the nucleotide sequence encoding the full-length death domain-containing receptor polypeptide having the perfect amino acid sequence of formula I (DR3-V1), (ii) the nucleotide sequence encoding the full-length death domain-containing receptor (DR3) polypeptide including the leader sequence to be expected to have the perfect amino acid sequence of formula II and (iii) the polynucleotide having the nucleotide sequence encoding the DR3-V1 polypeptide having the amino acid sequence from about 36 to about 428 positions of formula I. The separated nucleic acid molecule is introduced into a vector and the resultant recombinant vector is introduced into the host cells and the transformed host cells are cultured to produce the objective death domain-containing receptor polypeptide.

摘要： The present invention relates to novel members of the Tumor Necrosis Factor family of receptors. The invention provides isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding a human TR2 receptor and two splice variants thereof. TR2 polypeptides are also provided as are vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of TR2 receptor activity. Also provided are diagnostic methods for detecting disease states related to the aberrant expression of TR2 receptors. Further provided are therapeutic methods for treating disease states related to aberrant proliferation and differentiation of cells which express the TR2 receptors.
