摘要： The invention relates to a control plane network entity (201) for providing a multicast/broadcast service for one or more user equipments (203) in a cellular communication network (200), wherein the cellular communication network (200) comprises a core network, CN, and a radio access network, RAN, and is configured to provide a control plane, CP, and a user plane, UP. The control plane network entity (201) is configured to: receive a session setup request for a multicast/broadcast session for the one or more user equipments (203), wherein the session setup request comprises one or more identifiers identifying the one or more user equipments (203) and/or one or more spatial regions the one or more user equipments (203) are located in; select one or more further control plane network entities (207), in particular one or more access and mobility management function, AMF, entities, of the cellular communication network (200) on the basis of the one or more identifiers for providing the multicast/broadcast session to the one or more user equipments (203); and send a user plane session setup request to the selected one or more further control plane network entities (207), in particular one or more AMF entities. 摘要： An aspect of the disclosure provides for a method for user equipment (UE) internet protocol (IP) address management. The method includes sending by an application function (AF), a request to a policy control function (PCF), the request including information identifying traffic and an indication that a UE IP address associated with the traffic should be preserved. The method further includes sending by the PCF, to a session management function (SMF) being responsible for managing a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session associated with the traffic, a policy and charging control (PCC) rule including the indication. In some embodiments, the request is sent by the AF to the PCF via a network exposure function (NEF). In some embodiments, the method further includes managing, by the SMF, the UE IP address according to the PCC rule. In some embodiments, the managing includes preserving the UE IP address for a PDU session associated with the traffic. In some embodiments, the preserving includes preventing reselection of a protocol data unit (PDU) session anchor (PSA) to which the UE IP address is associated.

摘要： The present invention discloses a data transmission method and apparatus, and relates to the technical field of communication networks. In a data transmission process, different quality of service parameters may be flexibly adopted to transmit data, to flexibly adopt different download modes to download a media file, such that the video quality is improved and the network bandwidth resources are saved, or the media content may be smoothly played in real time to improve the user experience. According to the present invention, when transmitting data by using a first radio bearer, a UE receives radio resource control connection reconfiguration information sent by a base station; the UE obtains a second radio bearer according to the radio resource control connection reconfiguration information; the UE sends radio resource control connection reconfiguration completion information to the base station; the UE transmits a part of the data which has not been transmitted by using the second radio bearer. The solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention are suitable to be adopted during switch between an adaptive streaming mode and a progressive download mode.
