摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the riding quality of an automobile seat relative against micro vibration.
SOLUTION: This automobile seat is provided with a pair of left/right rods 6 extending frontward from a seat rear end side part of a seat frame 4 in a seat part 1a of the seat 1, a plate 7 disposed between the rods, a plurality of S springs laid over the seat frame to be disposed across the whole face of the seat surface and a bellows 8 as a damper in a space toward the plate. The damper is assembled to a seat cushion body, so that not only spring characteristic but also damping characteristic can be applied to the seat cushion body to change a resonance point and reduce a resonance peak value, thereby improving the riding quality of the seat. The simple structure of providing an orifice in the bellows can provide the bellows with the damper characteristics, and in that case, the spring and the damper are coacted to exhibit a profitable effect on the vibration characteristics of the seat.

摘要： A pre-tensioning assembly for automatically increasing the tension of a seat belt in case of a vehicle crash. The assembly includes an arm 12 mounted on a base plate 11 by a pivot 16 and attached at one end 19 to a seat belt. A piston 13 acts between a point on the arm 12 that is radially offset from the pivot 16 and a feed point on the base plate 11 so that linear movement of the piston 13 results in rotational movement of the arm 12 and tensioning of the seat belt. The arm 12 is limited to rotation in one direction by a ratchet mechanism 15 mounted on the arm or by a clutch mechanism acting about the pivot 16. The substantially direct connection of the piston 13 and the seat belt results in improved power transmission efficiency and the amount of propellant required is reduced.

The fourth frame 94 is supported over the third frame 63 so that the fourth frame 94 can be inclined. An inclination adjusting mechanism 93 for the fourth frame 94 as to the third frame 63 is provided in the space at the outside of the top of the height adjusting mechanism 61. The space is thus efficiently utilized to provide a compact support device which can be adjusted in a wide range.
