    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain at low cost a cover waterproof structure, which prevents water from penetrating by a method wherein an electric body having a U-shaped section with the upper and lower ends overhung slightly on the outside is mounted on the outer surface of a clamping seat for bottom cover fitting use. SOLUTION: A clamping seat 7 for bottom cover fitting use is mounted on a box flame 2, and an elastic body 14 having a U-shaped section with both upper and lower ends overhung slightly on the outsde is bonded to the outer surface of the seat 7. A projected material overhangs on the surface, which comes into contact with a bottom cover 1, of the body 14 so that it is forcedly deformed by fitting the cover 1. When the cover 1 is clamped, the projected material is deformed and comes into contact with the surface of the cover 1, whereby water is prevented from penetrating. Accordingly, the water penetrating from the gap between a bolt 10, a spring washer 9, and a flat washer 8 into a box inside 5 through a box outside 6 can be prevented by the contact of the surface of the body 14 with the U-shaped section with the surface of the bottom cover 1.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate detection of an abnormality in the total system of an electric vehicle by a method wherein the test run of the electric vehicle is performed when the vehicle is in a state not related to an operational run. CONSTITUTION:At the time of a failure, the power supply 6 of an electric vehicle is supplied in accordance with a signal from a release-for-failure command part 8. That is, an electromagnetic part 3 is excited by the power supply 6 through a control contact 7 to open a normally-closed main contact 2 and a normally-closed auxiliary contact 5 and close a normally-opened auxiliary contact 4. The auxiliary contacts 4 and 5 are utilized to confirm the conditions with which a load current is not applied to a main circuit releasing apparatus 1. The control contact 7 is also closed in accordance with a signal from a test run command part 9. If the test run command signal is automatically given in connection with the start-up of the power supply 6 of the electric vehicle for operation, the test run of the electric vehicle can be performed before the operation run. With this constitution, the sequential test of the electric system, the mechanical system and the control system of the main circuit releasing apparatus 1 can be totally performed and, if there is an abnormality in the overall system of the electric vehicle, it can be detected.
