    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk device which is capable of suppressing gravity sinking of a supporting mechanism when the mechanism is perpendicularly placed without impairing the vibration absorbability of the mechanism. SOLUTION: The supporting mechanism 11 supporting a member 7 mounted with a motor for rotationally driving a disk-shaped recording medium at another member 9 includes a leg 31 and a fitting body 33 to be fitted to the leg 31. The leg 31 has a columnar portion 35 formed to a columnar shape and collar-like portions 37 which are disposed at both ends of the columnar portion 35 and overhang like a collar. At least the columnar portion 35 is formed of material having elasticity and the fitting body 33 has a width nearly the same as the distance between the opposite surfaces of the collar-like portions 37 of the leg 31 and is form fittably to the leg 31 in the state of enclosing part of the columnar portion 35 of the leg 31. The columnar portion 35 of the leg 31 and the fitting body 33 come into contact with each other at plural points or surfaces in the direction between at least the collar-like portions 37 of the leg 31, by which the stress acting on the columnar portion 35 of the lag 31 having elasticity is dispersed and the compressive deformation of the columnar portion 35 is reduced. The gravity sinking of the supporting mechanism 11 when the mechanism is perpendicularly placed is suppressed without impairing the vibration absorbability of the supporting mechanism 11.

SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface (a fourth surface) 214 being an opposite side surface of a rotary shaft becomes a surface inclining outside by θ1 in the direction for separating from a groove bottom surface (a second surface) 212 and inclining inside by θ2 toward a turntable surface (a first surface) 12 from an almost central part. Thus, since a correcting ball 22 is pressed to an outer peripheral surface by centrifugal force, centrifugal force increases at high speed rotation, push-up force overcomes static friction, and the correcting ball 22 is pushed up up to a position of a central part of the fourth surface 214, so that the correcting ball moves along a V-shaped groove without contacting with the groove bottom surface 212 and the turntable surface 211. Thus, a rolling component rather than a slide becomes dominant in a movement of the correcting ball, and since frictional force is small, the correcting ball can smoothly move to a prescribed position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an eccentric vibration of a disk and interrupt the vibration transmission to a case by performing a surface treatment with a low-friction material to the surfaces of respective members which may come into contact with each other in order to reduce the friction force between a rotating support member and a structural body supporting it or interference between portions which are in solid contact with each other. SOLUTION: In order to reduce the friction force between a unit mechanism 1 or a flexible printed circuit board 1d to be attached to the unit mechanism 1 and an under cover 2, a fluororesin is applied onto a surface of the under cover 2 that faces the unit mechanism 1, thereby allowing the unit mechanism 1 to freely move. The treatment for providing the under cover 2 with a lower friction realizes almost no vibration transmission at a contact portion between the unit mechanism 1 and the under cover 2, so that no vibration is transmitted to the entire apparatus. In addition, by further performing the treatment for providing a contacting portion between damping legs 1b and the under cover 2 with a low-friction, the whole unit mechanism 1 is allowed to smoothly vibrate in the in-plane direction with respect to a rotation plane of a disk 8.
