    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of increase in processing load of a terminal due to analysis of wood structure of text performed in a terminal every time the whole text is transmitted, when transmitting the text having the same wood structure written in a markup language such as XML from a server to the terminal multiple times.SOLUTION: In a data transmission/reception system according to the invention, a text structure analysis function for previously analyzing text in a server and a transmission data creation function for suitably selecting data to be transmitted on a request from a terminal are installed in a server. It is determined whether whole data or a part of data of wood structure of text is transmitted from a server to a terminal, on the basis of a version of the wood structure of text held by the terminal. It makes it possible to reduce the processing load of analysis of data performed by the terminal.
