    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently provide a block copolymer comprising a hydrophilic aromatic polymer compound having a protonic acid group and a hydrophobic aromatic polymer compound having no protonic acid group. SOLUTION: The block copolymer is produced through steps of: (a) preparing a first aromatic polymer compound having a perfluorobiphenyl group at a molecular end and having a protonic acid group; (b) preparing a second aromatic polymer compound having a reactive group at a molecular end that can react with the perfluorobiphenyl group described in (a) and having no protonic acid group; and (c) preparing a copolymer comprising the first aromatic polymer compound and the second aromatic polymer compound bonded to each other.
