    • PURPOSE: To eliminate the sharp change in the flow of a fluid in a scoop-up tube chamber, prevent a separation flow and eliminate the unstable region of output rotational frequency, by opening a plurality of holes through a partition plate between the working chamber and scoop-up tube chamber of a fluid joint to connect the chambers to each other.
      CONSTITUTION: The working chamber 5 of a fluid joint is defined by an impeller 2 coupled to an input shaft 1 and a runner 3 coupled to an output shaft 4. A scoop- up tube 8 is provided in a casing 6 at the side of the impeller 2. The casing 6 is divided by a partition plate 7 to define a scoop-up tube chamber 9. The partition plate 7 is provided with a plurality of communication holes 10 to prevent the separation flow in the scoop-up tube 8.
