    • PURPOSE:To compensate, with high accuracy, decrease of magnetic force due to temperature increase of a permanent magnet by detecting change of the amount of magnetic flux in a converging magnet apparatus by a magnetic sensor and increasing/decreasing the amount of current flowing through an exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:A voltage produced by a magnet sensor and increasing with the increase of magnetic flux is integrated and averaged by a secular change-compensation circuit 21. The voltage thus obtained is applied to an inversion input terminal of a comparison amplifier 10 to be compared with a voltage of a power supply 9 applied to an noninversion input terminal thereof. Accordingly, the output of the compensation circuit 21 decreases as magnetic flux in a converging magnet apparatus 20 increases. While, the output of the compensation circuit 21 increases as magnetic flux in a converging magnet apparatus decreases. Thus, the compensation circuit 21 is sc operated that a current flowing through an exciting coil 2 decreases with increase of mean amount of magnetic flux in the apparatus 20, while the current flowing through the coil 2 increase with decrease of the mean amount of magnetic flux in the apparatus 20. Therefore, the mean amount of magnetic flux in the apparatus 20 is kept constant.

    • PURPOSE:To display a marker without changing the luminance of a grating pattern and the marker and to enable an observer to easily observe a grating point even if the marker is flickered by displaying the frame type marker surrounding the grating point of the grating pattern to be a convergence adjusting point. CONSTITUTION:When a marker horizontal position of a port P1 coincides with an output from a frequency dividing counter 12, a coincidence circuit 14 outputs a coincidence pulse (d). The pulse (d) outputs a signal (e) having right and left pulse width equal about a grating pattern vertical line signal (c) through a D.FF 16. The horizontal position and width of the marker are determined by the signal (e). A signal for determining the vertical position and width of the marker is obtained by counting an output signal (h) from a frequency dividing counter 13 by a counter 17 and outputting a coincidence pulse l from a coincidence circuit 15 based on coincidence between the marker vertical position of a port P2 and the output of the counter 17. An AND circuit 24 finds out AND operation between the advancing signal (h) with 14H phase and a delayed signal (j) with 14H phase based on the pulse l and a grating pattern horizontal line signal (i) to form signals (f), (g) to be the horizontal frames of the marker. Signals to be the vertical frames of the marker are formed by forming a pulse width signal (k) by a D.FF 20 and forming a marker vertical line signal by the AND circuit 24.

    • PURPOSE:To correct a flare, aperture effect, etc., which cause deterioration in display picture quality through an electric circuit by using a surface acoustic wave filter and a variable gain amplifier which have independently settable amplitude characteristics and phase characteristics in combination. CONSTITUTION:A video signal inputted to a video signal input terminal 17 is modulated to a carrier frequency that a filter with less phase distortion (e.g. surface acoustic wave filter denoted as SAW filter hereafter) requests, and divided into three frequency ranges by an SAW filter. Then, the signal is reconverted into a video signal of a base band by a demodulator 8 and its amplitude characteristics only are varied by the variable gain amplifier. In this case, the gain of an M range signal is unchanged and a large signal component between an L range and an H range varies with a control signal. Deterioration in picture quality due to a flare increases generally with screen brightness, so the control signal is obtained by detecting the screen brightness optically or by detecting the high voltage output power source of a high voltage power source (e.g. FBT) or a video output voltage.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a rush current without using a relay when a power source is turned on, to reduce cost and to improve reliability by providing a means to cut off a differential amplifier circuit when the power source is turned on. CONSTITUTION:When the power source is turned on, a transistor Tr Q9 is biased in a regular direction through a resistor R12 and turned to an ON state and a Tr Q10 is turned to the ON state as well. Accordingly, Tr Q3, Tr Q4, Tr Q1 and Tr Q2 constituting the differential amplifier circuit are cut off. Since the base of a Tr Q6 forming an SEPP (Single Push-Pull) circuit is grounded through a diode D7, a rush current preventing circuit 10 is operated. Next, an electric charge is charged to a capacitor C1 and a Tr Q8 is turned to the ON state. At such a time, the Tr Q9 and Tr Q10 are turned to a cut-off state and the circuit 10 is released. Then, a CY driving amplifier is biased to a normal state and normally operated. Therefore, the rush current is prevented without using the relay when the power source is turned on, the cost is decreased and further the reliability can be improved.

Each output is added by an adder circuit 4, and a distance between adjusting points in the vertical direction is interporated. Finally its result is outputted through a low-pass filter 5.
