摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of preventing damage to a board or a sealing adhesive and the distortion of display caused by an operation environment such as an ambient temperature and barometric pressure or heat generation during operation, and preventing the generation of a dark spot by blocking oxygen and moisture from the outside. SOLUTION: A luminescent layered body is disposed on a luminescent layered body formation substrate 1 without having permeability for oxygen and water; a sealing board 2 having a property value equivalent to that of the substrate is formed; at least one of the luminescent layered body formation substrate and the sealing board has light transmittance; the luminescent layered body formation substrate is stuck to the sealing board with a sealing adhesive annularly applied so as to surround a luminescent layered body group of the luminescent layered body formation substrate; projections 10 are formed higher than the luminescent layered body on pixel-separating banks 9; and a space 14 formed by the luminescent layered body formation substrate, the sealing board and the sealing adhesive is filled with an inert gas depressurized below the atmospheric pressure to bring the projections formed on the pixel-separating banks into contact with the inside surface of the sealing board.
