    • The present invention aims at suppressing the ripples of discharge and charge currents generated via switching control of a power semiconductor device in a battery. The object of the present invention can be achieved by providing a power converter comprising an inverter, an AC load driven by the inverter, a battery absorbing a regeneration electric power of the AC load, and a DC-DC converter controlling the electric power absorbed by the battery, wherein a capacitor for absorbing current ripples superposed in the DC-DC converter is connected in parallel with the battery, and wherein the inductance of the electric wiring disposed between the capacitor and the DC-DC converter is set to be smaller than the inductance of the electric wiring disposed between the battery and the DC-DC converter.

The switching device is activated or stopped based on the switching signal.
