    • According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a driving device including: a driver bit for striking a fastener loaded in a launching section; a driver for driving the fastener from the launching section by reciprocating the driver bit; triggering means pullable to control the driver; and locking means that locks the pulling operation of the triggering means when being set to a lock position and that releases the locking state when being set to a release position, wherein the locking means includes release means to operate the locking means toward the release position when the triggering means is pulled and returning means to return the locking means toward the lock position when the pulling is released.
