    • The loom comprises: a first and a second fill yarn-holding conveyor rods (14,15), which are disposed to the left and the right of an opening formed by multiple side-by-side warp yarns (Wa) that run in one direction at a prescribed speed and which rods are repeatedly and simultaneously inserted into the opening toward the center of the weaving width and withdrawn; and a single fill yarn conveyor (16) that is selectively gripped by the ends of the rods that face same and is alternately held and conveyed by the first or second fill yarn-holding conveyor rod (14,15). By operating a first and a second rod-operating units (19,20), a first and a second gripping/releasing parts (17,18) are operated via the first and the second fill yarn-holding conveyor rods (14,15) to alternately transfer the fill yarn conveyor (16) at the center of the weaving width, and after the transfer, are shuttled between the entrance of the opening and the center of the weaving width. The invention reliably separates the warp yarns and makes possible increased rates of fill yarn insertion using a linear motor or the like without raising a nap on the precursor fibers configuring the fiber bundles.

    • Switching process at the occurrence of a path trouble is performed more quickly to reduce the number of packet discards during a traffic transition from a currently used system path to a standby system path within a section to be protected. An OLT (210-W) refers to the DBA information of a PON section and, if receiving no CCM frame at a timing at which the same should be received, then determines that some trouble has occurred on the path (S801) and transmits, to an OAM-compliant NE (200-Z), an application-for-switching frame (1501) to notify the OAM-compliant NE (200-Z) of the abnormal condition. The OAM-compliant NE (200-Z) monitors the occurrence of the trouble within the PON section nearly in real time, starts a switching process (S802) and generates and transmits a standby-system delivery request (321) (S302, S803). An OAM-compliant NE (200-A) switches the communication path to the standby-system passing through an OLT (210-P).

    • A data processing device of the invention has an ID creator unit (300) which adds ID information which is set by a CPU and the number of sectors, and outputs a result of the addition as ID information; a scramble SEED value table (103) which produces an initial scramble SEED value, by using the ID information which is outputted from the ID creator unit (300); a normal scramble filter (104) which produces a scramble SEED value (402) for data to be transferred; a frame jumping scramble filter (301) which holds a scramble SEED value of a jumping destination (401) in preparation for jumping; and a selector (105) which selects one of the scramble SEED value (401) and the scramble SEED value (402) and outputs the selected value to the normal scramble filter (104). Accordingly, the data processing device can perform a scrambling process and a de-scrambling process, without depending on the reliability of the data being transferred.
