    • It is an object of the present invention to provide an alkali-soluble maleimide-based copolymer excellent in resistance for thermally yellowing, high in hardness, excellent in solubility in solvents and capable of readily forming uniform coat films and, in addition, capable of being satisfactorily dissolved in alkali water when remaining uncured, as well as a pigment dispersion composition comprising such copolymer and an ionizing radiation-curable resin composition comprising such copolymer.
