    • A conductive member is provided in a first connector together with a plurality of terminal fittings. The conductive member includes elastic arms associated with the respective terminal fittings. Each elastic arm is divided into a first conductive piece and a second conductive piece which are moved together. The first conductive piece is brought into contact with the terminal fitting when the first connector and the second connector are disengaged. The second conductive piece is away from the terminal fitting when the first connector and the second connector are disengaged. Insulative members are provided in the second connector so as to be associated with the respective elastic arms. Each insulative member includes a first insulative piece and a second insulative piece. The first insulative piece is inserted between the terminal fitting and the first conductive piece when the first connector and the second connector are engaged. The second insulative piece moves the second conductive piece in a direction away from the terminal fitting when the first connector and the second connector are engaged.

    • A color image forming apparatus of the present invention is provided for reproducing on an image output medium an original color image formed on an image input medium, the image input and output media having first and second gamut, respectively. The color image forming apparatus obtains a color image data of the original color image for every picture element which is located inside of the first gamut. The color image data is color-compressed in a direction toward an achromatic color to obtain a color-compressed color image data located inside of the second gamut. The lightness value of the achromatic color is determined in accordance with a hue value of the color image data. The color-compressed color image data is transformed into a control signal data. A color image is recorded on the image output medium on the basis of the control signal data.

    • The present invention provides a sliding lens cover mechanism for a projector, which enables enhancement in operability and prevention of noise, and the sliding lens cover mechanism includes: a front panel that allows the projection lens to be exposed from a part thereof; a lens cover that moves over said front panel, from fully-open state in which the projection lens is exposed and a fully-closed state in which said lens cover covers the projection lens; and a slide device unit that biases the lens cover to move to a fully-open state or to a fully-closed state or to an intermediate state, wherein the lens cover includes a pin that protrudes toward the front panel; and wherein the front panel includes a slide plate that abuts against the pin only in the fully open state or in the fully closed state.
