摘要： An architecture that leverages support for markup language operations, e.g., extensible markup language (XML) queries, via a lightweight application program interface (API). The API defines an object model that can simplify construction of XML values in languages that do not natively support XML. The novel aspects of the described innovation can enable query languages to be factored into general operations (e.g., mapping, filtering, sorting, and/or projection of functions) on collections on one hand, and a set of domain specific operations (e.g., navigation, construction and modification) on the elements of these collections on another hand. The subject API can support creation of XML data that is node centric (e.g., context-free). Accordingly, nodes do not have to be constructed within the context of a document. Additionally, aspects can enable expression-oriented interface mechanisms as opposed to the imperative statement-oriented style interfaces used in connection with traditional interface mechanisms (e.g., DOM).

摘要： An applicator for use in tissue repair is provided. The applicator includes a base configured to dispense a material and an applicator tip operably connected to the base. The applicator tip includes a body having a distal end configured to engage a tissue defect and a mold disposed about the body configured to engage tissue about the tissue defect. The mold is configured to be selectively positioned about the distal end of the body between at least a first position and a second position to deposit material to form at least a first layer and a second layer. 摘要： Biocompatible wound closure devices including an elongate body and a plug member are useful for wound repair. A wound closure device includes an elongate body defining a longitudinal axis and having a proximal end and a distal end, and a plug member having a tissue facing surface and including a first shaped section and a second shaped section, each of the first and second shaped sections having an abutment surface. The first and second shaped sections are movable about a hinge between a collapsed position in which the abutment surfaces extend away from the longitudinal axis of the elongate body and a deployed position in which the abutment surfaces abut and are substantially aligned with the longitudinal axis of the elongate body, the abutment surfaces controlling a deployed angle of the tissue facing surface of the plug member with respect to the elongate body.
