    • A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon a blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, a green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the silver halide color photographic material contains at least one kind of pyrazoloazole type magenta coupler represented by the general formula (I) described below and the total coating amount of silver in the photographic material is 0.75 g/m.sup.2 or less. ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon a coupling reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; Za, Zb and Zc each represents a methine group, a substituted methine group, .dbd.N-- or --NH--, one of the Za-Zb bond and the Zb-Zc bond being a double bond and the other being a single bond; when the Zb-Zc bond is a carbon-carbon double bond, the Zb-Zc bond may be a part of a condensed aromatic ring; R.sup.1 or X may also form a polymer including a dimer or more; and when Za, Zb or Zc is a substituted methine group, the substituted methine group may form a polymer including a dimer or more.The silver halide color photographic material provides color images having improved color reproducibility and preservability and is excellent in processing stability.

    • A method of forming color photographic images where a silver halide color photographic material containing a coupler which forms a dye by reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and containing an acid-processed gelatin in an amount of 25% by weight or more of the amount of the total gelatin coated is color developed, desilvered and then rinsed in water and/or stabilized. The total of the processing time of said desilvering, rinsing-in-water and stabilization steps is controlled to be 3 minutes or less, and/or the amount of replenisher added to the rinsing-in-water bath and stabilization bath is controlled to be from 0.5 to 50 times of the amount of the processing solution which is brought into the rinsing-in-water bath and stabilization bath from the desilvering bath together with the material which is being processed. By the method, staining of the processed photographic material in a rapid processing can noticeably be reduced and the amount of the final rinsing or stabilizing solution to be used can noticeably be economized without lowering the image storability of the processed material.

    • The present inventioin calls for a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide photographic emulsion layer containing a dispersion of oleophilic fine particles containing at least one diffusion resistant oil-soluble coupler which forms a substantially nondiffusible dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent and at least one water-immiscible coupler solvent having a melting point of not more than 100.degree. C. and a boiling point of not less than 140.degree. C., wherein said oil-soluble coupler is represented by formula (Cp-I), (Cp-II) or (Cp-III) the dispersion of oleophilic fine particles is a dispersion obtained by emulsifying or dispersing a mixture containing at least one of the above couplers, at least one of the above coupler solvents and at least one water-insoluble and organic solvent-soluble homopolymer or copolymer composed of at least one repeating unit which does not have an acid group in the main chain or side chain thereof.The silver halide color photographic material can provide dye images, the prevention from light fading and dark fading of which is well balanced, and which exhibit excellent image preservability when exposed to high temperature and high humidity as well as when exposed to light.
