摘要： In a community TV receiving system in which television carrier signals are sent from a common community receiving antenna through a dividing box to respective TV receivers, all connected through coaxial cables, and an alarm system incorporated therein comprising alarm signal generators each having a resistance peculiar thereto connected to the coaxial cables across the core-tube circuit thereof in the vicinity of the respective receivers, and a common alarm receiver operable in response to the peculiar resistances located at a suitable station for indicating the signal generator location without interference to the TV signals.

摘要： A smoke detector is disclosed which comprises an inner electrode, an intermediate electrode with a hole for passing radioactive rays therethrough, an outer electrode having openings for allowing smoke to flow therethrough, and one radioactive source, the inner and intermediate electrodes forming an inner ionization chamber, the intermediate and outer electrodes forming an outer ionization chamber, the radioactive source being disposed in the inner ionization chamber. A proper quantity of radioactive rays from the radioactive source is applied into the outer ionization chamber through the hole provided in the intermediate electrode.

摘要： A photoelectron counter in an open detection chamber in which photoelectrons emitted from a solid surface by a photon irradiation energy are counted, is arranged so as to suppress background noise which produces a false count rate due to photoelectrons which are emitted from solid surfaces outside the subject when scattered rays have reached and irradiated the same surface. The counter uses one or more of options including a film or coating formed with a thickness which is less than several .mu.m thickness on parts which are subject to scattered rays incident from the subject, a ray screen for interrupting scattered rays from entering into the detection chamber and/or a center guard provided at the front part of the detector to enable nearby measurement and while interrupting scattered rays.
