摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for collecting water energy that can collect water energy from a river flow efficiently.
SOLUTION: This unit 10 for collecting water energy is configured, as a unit, of a water wheel 11 and an accelerating passage 12 for introducing flowing water into the water wheel 11 by accelerating the water. The passage 12 includes passage structure to introduce flowing water into the water wheel 11 by accelerating the flowing water, and has a constriction portion 14 as means for accelerating the flowing water. An upstream intake port 15 on the passage 12 has a water receiving area larger than that of the water wheel 11, and the portion 14 has a V shape in a manner that a gap between both walls 16 and 17 of the passage becomes narrower gradually from the upstream side toward the downstream side. The unit 10 takes part of a stream flow from the port 15 and accelerates the flowing water gradually in the portion 14. Accordingly, water energy per unit flow rate is increased, larger water energy acts by a water-receiving surface of the water wheel 11 and larger water energy can be collected.
