    • A folding scaffold is formed which has paired front and rear poles, scaffold boards provided between these poles, front support members provided with lock members engageable with a disengageable from the front side end portions of the scaffold boards, scaffold hinge members projecting from the rear pole and connected to the rear side end portions of the scaffold boards, hinge members projecting from the front pole and connected to the lower portions of diagonal members, and diagonal members connected at their respective both end portions to both of these hinges. In order to assemble the scaffold, the diagonal members are brought into contact with pivotal movement stopping members as the front pole is moved up with the same pole place on the upper side, to stop the pivotal movement of the diagonal members. The scaffold boards are then turned around the scaffold hinge members to the side of the front pole, and the front side end portions are brought into contact with the front support members and fixed by the lock members to assemble the scaffold. The scaffold is adapted to be folded flat by reversing these assembling steps, so that the setting of the angle between the front pole and diagonal members can be done easily. In order to provide these parts in a plurality of stages, either the front pole or the diagonal members are moved, whereby they can be moved in parallel with each other.
