SOLUTION: The asbestos detector 1 for detecting asbestos in a sample using a dispersive dyeing method comprises an image data acquisition section 41 for receiving observation image data showing an observation image obtained by observing fiber in the sample with a phase-contrast microscope 2, a dispersive color data storage section D1 for storing dispersive color data showing dispersive color when immersion liquid of specific refractive index is mixed into the asbestos, and an asbestos determination section 42 for determining whether there is asbestos in the fiber in the observation image. The asbestos determination section 42 compares observation image shown by the observation image data with the dispersive color shown by the dispersive color data from the dispersive color data storage section D1, and determines whether there is asbestos using at least the comparing result as a parameter. A halogen element or other element which vaporizes at a low temperature equal to or less than 700 K contained in the sample is extracted into water.

摘要： PURPOSE: To quickly analyze a sample solution with high sensitivity by supplying the sample solution to an ion exchange resin filling up a limited space in a cell. CONSTITUTION: A flow cell 5 has a space section 6 which is formed by recessing the bottom of its main body 51 composed of a resin material. A pipe 21 which is connected to a sample supply line 2 is introduced to the space section 6 from the top of the main body 51. On the other hand, the bottom of the space section 6 is covered with a window material 52 and an overflow line 9 is connected to the upper part of the section 6. Then the section 6 is filled with an ion exchange resin 7 and a sample solution in an injector 4 is supplied to the resin 7 through the sample supply line 2. Therefore, the sample solution can be analyzed quickly, because the sample solution widely comes into contact with the surface of fine grains of the resin 7 and a catalytic reaction can be accelerated half-forcedly. In addition, the sample solution can be analyzed with high accuracy, because the sample solution is measured in the cell 5 without dilution.

While the cock 17 is closed and the container 1 inside and the sample hopper 8 are shut off, a powder sample 6 is thrown into the sample hopper 8 and the container 1 inside is evacuated, and afterward, the cock 17 is opened when the container 1 inside reaches a predetermined vacuum condition. Consequently, the power sample 56 is sucked to the container side and dispersed uniformly on the upper face of the optical board 18 via the nozzle 14.
