This invention ensures that the diagnosis of the problem in the pressure device control apparatus can be reliably effected by the release of the pressure in the accumulator after the pressure increase thereof to a level equal to or more than the second predetermined pressure.

The processing circuit (26) is connected to the first drive signal generating circuit (251), and the pressure detecting means (S1) is connected to the second drive signal generating cirucit (252). This ensures that the control of the first drive signal generating circuit (251) can be carried out at any time by a calculation in the processing circuit (26), leading to an increased function. When the processing circuit (26) has a problem, the on-off control of the pump can be carried out by the second drive signal generating circuit (252).

When the voltage of an electric power supply is equal to or higher than a threshold, the control means maintains the opening/closing valves in the opened state and starts the driving of the motor-driven cylinder when the driving of the motor-driven cylinder is started based on the operated amount of the pedal, and closes the opening/closing valves after the driving of the motor-driven cylinder is started.
