    • PURPOSE:To provide an image display method not to reduce the visual field angle with the frame rate increased, recording on the cine-memory the data from the whole and the divided visual field angle at each N frame alternately and sequential-ly, and reading out the whole angle data and the divided angle data compensated with the left and right data of the previous whole angle. CONSTITUTION:The ultrasonic image data are collected in such a way that, at a certain frame F1, the data are picked up from the whole angle E, and next, in any subsequent N frames, only the data are picked up from the central angle E' of the whole angle E divided into three, and hereafter at each N frame, the data are picked up from the whole angle E and the central angle E' alternately and repeatedly, and thus arranged image data are recorded in the cine- memory. When the data of the divided areas are read out, the left and right side data from the previous whole angle E are added to all the data from the central angle E' appearing in N frames between the adjacent two whole angle E, thus the readout data for the divided areas being formed. The readout data of the whole and divided areas are recorded in and read out from an image memory 5 to be displayed as an ultrasonic image.
