CONSTITUTION:By a selecting means 7 provided on an output side of a difference image data generating means 4, tomography image data Da outputted from a tomography scanning means 5 and difference image data Db outputted from a difference image data generating means 4 are inputted, one of the tomography image data Da or the difference image data Db is selected and outputted in accordance with a display period of an image display means 6, and the image display means 6 inputs these image data, by which a tomography image Ia and a difference image Ib can be displayed simultaneously on its same screen. In this case, by the difference image Ib, the motion of the motion part of the heart and the blood vessel wall, etc., in the body to be examined can be plotted without using a contrast-medium.

    • PURPOSE:To grasp heart phase at the same time while observing tomographic images, by storing color phase scale as well as storing the color phase information of a biological signal while synchronizing with output data from a memory part and displaying a color phase indication of a biological wave from retrospective phase to progressive phase on a part of an image. CONSTITUTION:Image data are read sequencially with time lag from a cinememory 4 and color phase information are read from a color data memory 13 while synchronizing with that reading timing and sent to a composing part 9. The tomographic image data from DSC 5, graphic data from a graphic memory 8, color phase information from the color data memory 13, and color phase scale data from a color phase scale part 14 are composed with each other in the composing part 9, and are thereafter A/D converted and the tomographic images, electrocardiographic pulses, and color phase scale are superposed and displayed on one display. Thereby, the heart phase on the electrocardiographic pulses can be grasped at the same time while observing the tomographic image at realtime by means of color variation of the background part of the tomographic image.
