摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for improving the capacity of lubrication between a rolled stock and work rolls in a hot rolling equipment provided with a hot rolling mill whose work rolls are not crossed. SOLUTION: This hot rolling equipment is provided with nozzles 5La, 5Lb, 5Ua, 5Ub for jetting cooling water on the work rolls 1U, 1L, storage tank 6, nozzles 8L, 8U for jetting a lubricant, conduits 9, 11, pump 10 and switching valves 7a, 7b for conducting the lubricant to these nozzles, covers 12L, 12U and seal tips 13L, 13U for recovering excess lubricant, conduits 14, 16, 18 and pump 15 for returning the recovered lubricant to the tank 6, conduits 19, 21 for supplying the original liquid and diluent of the lubricant into the tank 6, switching valves 20, 22 for adjusting these feed rates, concentration meter 23 for detecting the concentration of the original liquid of the lubricant which amounts in the lubricant and controller 24 for controlling the movement of the switching valves in accordance with this detected result.

摘要： PURPOSE: To totally control the rolling condition related to the lubrication by controlling the thrust coefficient (the coefficient of friction) in the lubrication between a reinforcing roll and a working roll of a work roll cross rolling mill. CONSTITUTION: When the thrust coefficient μ calculated by a thrust coefficient arithmetic unit 64 from the thrust F obtained from thrust meters 4, 4', 5, 5' and the load P obtained by a rolling load meter 60 has the target thrust coefficient μ* and the deviation Δμ, the deviation signal is transmitted to a spray controller 15, a concentration controller 17 and an oil kind switching controller 65 in this order to control the thrust coefficient (the coefficient of thrust). The conditions where the thrust becomes excessive or troubles such as the breakage of a roll bearing are generated can be prevented, and the appropriate lubricating performance free from the vibration or slip can be obtained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture with high productivity a wide packing material which is easy to cut according to a size of an object to be packed. SOLUTION: This tape sticking apparatus fixes an outer frame mount 3 onto a horizontal table mount 32 with a part with a tire-like elastic body 31 in contact cut. The outer frame mount 3 includes a frame 34 having a rotatable shaft 35 which is placed vertically symmetrically with respect to the table mount 32 for fit-fixing the elastic body 31 and a tape support shaft 39 placed on an extended plane of the elastic body 31 fixed to the same frame. Wood pieces 15 formed with a slit extending in a full lengthwise length are successively put in from a front of the table mount 32, adhesive tapes 16 are supplied in a widthwise direction of the wood pieces 15 so that butted lengthwise ends of the wood pieces 15 are joined, and the adhesive tapes 16 are pressed by the tire-like elastic body 31 to the lengthwise end of the wood piece 15, thereby manufacturing a wide packing material with slits.

The elastic material piece formed with the slits having a slit width W less than the maximum Wmax which is calculated by an expression of Wmax =D×t/2×h and more than a slit width (t) may be used where a minimum outer diameter of a cylindrical object is D, the slit width of the elastic material piece is (t), a slit depth is (h) and a width between the slits is W.

摘要： In a continuous process for continuous casting and hot-rolling of metal sheet, off-line storage of a slab (17) takes place in a thermally insulated storage chamber (13) located alongside a thermally insulated zone (3) through which the slab lengths travel in the production line between cutting means (2) for the slab and the hot-rolling mill train (4). On stoppage of the hot-rolling mill train, at least one slab length is transferred laterally to the off-line thermally insulated storage chamber. To improve ductility, an induction heating stage (20) is combined with a subsequent temperature-maintaining stage in the furnace (3) for homogenization of temperature within the slab. Both these stages are performed on the slab at its casting thickness.
