    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the defective correction of round part in a wide flange shape steel by calculating a correcting load and varied quantities of one pair of roll widths from the necessary intermesh quantity to the correction, adjusting the roll width so that the rolling reduction quantities with one pair of rolls equalize and executing the rolling reduction and the correction. SOLUTION: The wide-flange shape steel is passed between each two pieces of an upper roll and a lower roll disposed zigzag state and the corrective load Fi added to arbitrary correcting roll shaft from the necessary intermesh quantity to the correction of the wide flange shape steel, is set. The width varied quantity ΔWi between each of two pieces of the rolls is calculated with the equalities 3 and 4 from Fi and this roll width is adjusted so that the rolling reduction quantities with each of two pieces of the rolls are equalized from ΔWi to execute the rolling reduction and the correction to the wide flange shape steel.
