摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce energy consumption by deciding the arrangement and connecting method of one-opening surface acoustic wave resonators so that an impedance characteristic on the side or a common terminal can have reactivi ty. CONSTITUTION:With a single antenna 1 as the common terminal, a filter 2 for reception and a filter 3 for transmission are parallelly connected. In this case, the four one-opening surface acoustic wave resonators composed of electrodes 4-1-4-6 or the like and gap capacitors composed of electrode patterns 5-1 and 5-2 are provided and formed on a piezoelectric substrate 7, which can propagate surface acoustic waves, so as to be used as the filter 3 for transmission. Further, acoustic absorbing materials 6-1-6-6 for absorbing the surface acoustic waves and inductances 8-1-8-4 for matching an outside circuit are provided. Moreover, each one-opening surface acoustic wave resonator is composed of an equivalent inductance 11-1, equivalent capacitor 12-1 and electrostatic capacitor 13-1.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a communication use high performance filter having a low loss and a broad band characteristic by solving a problem of impedance mis-matching of the surface acoustic wave resonator composite filter comprising plural surface acoustic wave resonators. CONSTITUTION:An impedance matching circuit 8 including inductive elements 10-1-10-4 is inserted to an electric connecting point in the inside of the surface acoustic wave resonator composite filter. Number of the inserted matching circuits 8 or their location is optionally selected. The selection is optimized by taking the relation of the filter configuration or its characteristic and specification into account. A can type or surface mount type package or the like with a connection terminal to the matching circuit 8 thereto is used for the mount of the surface acoustic wave resonator composite filter having the internal matching circuit 8. Since the matching state in the inside of the filter is improved as a result, the communication use high performance filter having a low loss and a broad band characteristic is realized.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the surface acoustic wave resonator which can arbitrarily turn a resonance characteristic to a narrow band by electrically parallelly connecting a gap capacitor formed with a thin film electrode on a piezoelectric substrate to the surface acoustic wave resonator. CONSTITUTION:The gap capacitor composed of plane electrodes 19-1 and 19-2 formed on the same piezoelectric substrata as the surface acoustic wave resonator composed of many pairs of interlaced electrodes are electrically parallelly connected by electric wirings 20-1 and 20-2. In this case, the thin film electrode formed on the piezoelectric substrate similarly to the gap capacitor or the wire of Al or the like is used for the electric wirings 20-1 and 20-2. Namely, by electrically parallelly connecting the gap capacitor to the surface acoustic wave resonator, the parallel capacity of the resonator is increased. Therefore, a capacity ratio applied by a ratio between this capacity and the equalizing capacity of the resonator is enlarged, and the resonance characteristic of the narrow band can be realized.

摘要： A surface acoustic wave device comprises a piezoelectric substrate (1) and a plurality of electrode fingers (2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8) which are located on the piezoelectric substrate along the propagation direction of a surface acoustic wave (10). The electrode fingers are located on the piezoelectric substrate at a pitch of about 1.5 lambda o/2, lambda o indicating a wavelength of a surface acoustic wave with a frequency equivalent to the center frequency of the surface acoustic wave device. The width of each of the electrode fingers is about 1.5 lambda o/4. Every other electrode finger (3) on the substrate is electrically independent of an external circuit (5, 9). Since the width of electrode fingers is about 1,5 lambda o/4, the surface acoustic wave device can be produced without a very fine processing technic.
