A tape guide system includes, in the tape supply side, at least a first, movable slanted pin and a first, movable tape height regulation guide roller for deriving the tape from an open space of a magnetic tape cassette and winding the tape on the cylinder drum, a second slanted pin and a second tape height regulation guide roller and a third, movable guide pin for winding the tape on the second slanted pin are provided and, in the tape returning side, a fourth, movable slanted pin and a fourth, movable tape height regulation guide roller for deriving the magnetic tape from the open space of the tape cassette and winding the magnetic tape on the cylinder drum, a fifth, movable slanted pin and a pinch roller which are to be derived from the open space of the tape cassette and a capstan arranged outside the open space. These movable tape guide members are movable on a common area in time-shared manner to thereby make the loading mechanism compact.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain stabilization in a tape travelling by providing a discoid metallic weight, which is integrated in the revolving part of a roller guide and has a larger diameter than that of the roller, and allowing the adjustment of a height in the direction of a tape width. CONSTITUTION:An axis 7a is implanted on an arm 23 at a prescribed inclination and inclined direction. This device is provided with a conical compressed spring 7b, a flange 7c regulating the lower end of the tape 7d, and the weight 7e which is pressed in a resin roller 7f and integrated with 7f and the sleeve 7d capable of turning around the sleeve 7d while integrated with the roller 7f; assembled with a spacer 7g and a stopper 7h for the sleeve 7d and the roller 7f; and engaged with the threaded part of the axis 7a. The flange 7c and the sleeve 7d are energized with a spring 7b to the direction of an arrow E, moved to the direction of either the arrow E or F at the position of the stopper 7h, and the roller 7f and the weight 7e are also moved to the directions of the arrows attending on the movement of the flange 7c. Thus, the regulation and the adjustment of the height at the lower end of the magnetic tape 1 are attained and the travelling of the tape is stabilized.
