    • PURPOSE:To attain efficient relay by transferring each information between the network and a communication module to a corresponding destination based on destination information through the control of transmission reception or storing the information to a buffer and managing addresses of reception and transmission information. CONSTITUTION:Each bus control circuit 104 controls transmission reception via a module bus 109 between networks 108a-108d and communication modules 102a, 102b whose transmission reception is controlled by each port control circuit 107. An information processing circuit 103 transfers the information received by the circuit 107 to a corresponding communication module based on additional destination information and stores it to a buffer 105 while dividing the information into fixed length blocks. Addresses of reception and transmission information in the buffer are managed by transmission reception management tables 116, 117, 148, 149 corresponding to the network and in the port side modules for each block. Thus, the re-transmission due to deficient capacity of the buffer 105 is avoided without reducing the relay processing performance of the packet and the relay efficiency is improved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminatingly use the environments of one application according to an IPv6 address in a single end terminal. SOLUTION: The end terminal 100 manages a plurality of environments of applications by making the application identifiers and user identifiers correspond to each other, and when prefix information is distributed from a CPE router 101, the end terminal generates the addresses by the managed application identifiers and user identifiers, makes the environments and the addresses correspond to each other through an address generation management table 900, and sets an address assigned to a socket for communication as its own address.
