    • PURPOSE:To shorten the overall length of a cylindrical molding machine, lessen the deflection of the molding machine caused by the pressure of molding outer shape at the time of bellow molding and attaining high accuracy of bellow molding by providing bearing sections which slide specifically at both ends of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Both ends of a cylinder 6 are retained by cylinder retaining sections 12 and 13. When the side surface of a cylinder 6 is pressed by a molding outer shape 5, the cylinder 6 is transferred to the position to come into contact with a shaft 1 and clamped by the molding outer shape 5 and a molding inner shape 4. Further, when the cylinder 6 is pressed by the molding outer shape 5, plastic deformation of the cylinder surface is started by the action of the recessed section of the molding outer shape 5 and the projected section of the molding inner shape 4 to shrink the overall length of the cylinder 6. As bearing sections 10 and 11, however, slide along the shaft 1, a bellows 6C of good accuracy is molded on the side surface of the cylinder 6. Since the shaft 1 is short, the deflection of the shaft 1 is small even when the molding load is applied from the molding outer shape 5 to the shaft 1, and a belows of high accuracy can be molded. Also, as the bearing section 10 can be slided outside the shaft 1, the cylinder 6 can be on and off the shaft 1 easily.

    • PURPOSE:To measure the deviation value of a centroid position in the radius direction of the rotary center axis of a cylindrical body by finding out the coordinates of the rotary centroid of the cylindrical body. CONSTITUTION:Driving chucks 2, 3 are fitted to both the ends of the thin cylindrical body 1 and supported by two rollers each. The center of the chuck 2 is coupled with a driving device 6 through a universal joint 4, an angle detector 7 for measuring the turning angle of the cylindrical body 1 is fitted to the device and a thickness measuring sensor 9 is fitted to the external surface of the cylindrical body 1. The deviation delta and thickness (t) of the external size between a reference circle 12 and the cylindrical body 1 which corresponds to the positional angle theta measured by the angle detector 7 are measured by a deviation measuring device 8 having a sensor contacted with the external surface of the cylindrical body 1 and to be reciprocated in accordance with the deviation of the centroid position based upon the shape error and positional shift of the cylindrical body 1 at respective measuring point (i) obtained by dividing the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 1 into n parts and the coordinates Zo, Yo of the centroid G to the center B of the reference circle 12 are calculated. Consequently, the deviation of the radius direction from the rotary center shaft at an optional position in a longitudinal direction can be found out.
