    • PURPOSE: To make effective use of incident radiations and to obtain a reliable radiation detector with the package construction of high productivity, by pressing a partition plate and a light reflection plate of thin sheet to a means for isolating optically adjacent radiation detectors by using a cushion material.
      CONSTITUTION: The radiations which are made incident to the detector enter first a keep plate 12 in common use as a light shielding plate and the transmitted thereto, then the radiations arrive at a cushion material 10 which is mostly air and absorbs less radiations. The radiations transmitted through said material arrive at a scintillator after transmitting through a light reflection plate 11. Since the plate 11 is thin, the shape is deformed in conformity with the ruggedness of a scintillator 6 and a partition plate 9 and is further pressed by the material 10 and the plate 12, by which the reflection plate is brought into tight contact with the scintillator 6 and the partition plate. Light is thereby reflected and the adjacent detectors are optically isolated. A thin Al sheet having a specular surface or a thin sheet having high reflectivity by depositing Al with evaporation on a polymer resin sheet and forming a specular surface is used for the plate 11.

    • PURPOSE:To elevate the detection accuracy and reliability with a higher productivity by inserting shield plates having scintillators into a plurality of grooves provided at a specified space on a substrate while photodetectors are arranged between the grooves. CONSTITUTION:A special glass substrate 22 on the surface of a substrate 20 which is a sector-shaped flat plate centered on the X ray source is photo etched to form a plurality of grooves 23 radially at a specified space and radiation shield plates 13 having scintillator 11 bonded thereon are inserted thereinto. Radiation 2 entered into the scintillators 11 is excited to be converted to light, taken out of a wire 26 as electrical signal of a photo detector 12 mounted on the substrate 20 and connected to a processing circuit with a contact plug 32. Thus, one detector is made up of a pair of shield plates 13 scintillators 11 and a pair of photo detectors 12. This enables the detectors to be retained at a proper accuracy of geometrical position with respect to the X ray source by etching grooves thereby elevating the reliability and stability of the apparatus.

    • PURPOSE:To enable to perform the fixing of a semiconductor photo detector on a substrate securely and easily, by providing metals for fixing on the semiconductor photo detector. CONSTITUTION:Metallized parts 13a are formed at both end parts of an insulation substrate 5 which constitutes the semiconductor photo detector, and the surfaces thereof are plated with Ag, etc. This metallized part 13a serves as the mount part to the substrate 9. In other words, when a plurality of the detectors are mounted on the substrate 9, each detector is arranged between printing wiring patterns 10 formed on the substrate 9. Next, the metallized part 13a and the wiring pattern 10 are fixed each other by means of solder 11. Such a constitution enables to perform the fixing of the semiconductor photo detectors on the substrate easily and securely. Mechanical loads can be prevented from being applied to the signal take-out pins 8 of the detector.
