摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke with improved raster strain lowering property in the case a color cathode-ray tube is made to have a wide angle and high image resolution and provide a display apparatus which can display images with high quality by employing such a deflection yoke. SOLUTION: In a deflection yoke comprising a horizontal and a vertically deflection coils, the horizontal deflection yoke 11 is constituted of a pair of saddle-shape coils formed by winding a conductor. Further, the bridge parts 11a, 11b in the phosphor screen side are formed at approximately right angles to the tubular axis 42 of the cathode-ray tube and separated into at least two pairs of coils in the radial direction in diagonal parts and at the same time the bridge parts are formed as to form rectangular corners at the diagonal parts. Such a deflection yoke is used for a display apparatus.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke which radiates a quantity of heat generated in it in air with high efficiency, through low in cost, and which can reduce in temp. rise of the yoke to a great extent and to provide a cathode-ray tube display device using it. SOLUTION: A heat radiation fin 60 of a radiating mechanism 6 has a plurality of plate members, arranged parallel with one another and also parallel with the horizontal direction of a magnetic core. A holder part 61 has a mounting part 63 to the magnetic core, and the part 63 is shaped semispherically so as to creep on the outer wall surface of the magnetic core. The heat-radiating mechanism 6 consists of a consolidated construction of a plurality of such radiation fins 60 and holder parts 61 and is yielded from a high thermal conductivity material through an extrusion process in the direction, perpendicular to this sheet of description, which can be accomplished by a single run of extrusion. Therefore, its fabricating costs remain low.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke in which the irregularities in winding is reduced, so as to stabilize display performance by winding a wire bundle with high tension to form into coil-like, and fitting the same to a separator. SOLUTION: A wire bundle 20, formed into coil-like with high tension, is thrusted to a separator 21, and a guide pin 36L fitted to a guide 22 is fitted into a hole 24 which is made at a location corresponding to a guide pin 36L position on the separator 21. At this time, a trumpet-like cone face is thrusted to the inner face of the separator 21, a winding position to a fringe is positioned by the guide pin 36L, and the wire bundle 20 as a whole is held in a form sandwiched by the guide 22 and the separator 21. The wire bundle 20 is formed into a coil by winding a wire around a metal-made winding mold 51 which has the same inner face shape as the separator 2 and on which the same shape pins 52, 53 as the guide pin are formed, so that the coil having few irregularities can be formed using the large tension.

When the amplitude of the pulses generated on the interior graphic film 10 is defined as VDY and the amplitude of the reverse pulses on the graphite film 10 as VFR, the absolute value of the value of VFR with respect to VDY is made to be in the range of 0.65

In this case, the phosphor screen side core extending toward a phosphor screen side has a nearly cylindrical shape, and the electron gun side core 4b is formed to have a long elliptical shape in the horizontal direction crossing the tube axial direction on the surface perpendicular thereto, and the horizontal deflection coil 2 is formed to be thick in the horizontal direction mentioned above.

Therefore, graphic distortion displayed on a display screen surface of the cathode-ray tube can be independently improved on the periphery of a display screen of the cathode-ray tube without adding a permanent magnet or the like.
