    • PURPOSE:To prevent the accident by intervention of an oxide system by thermally spraying powders having wear resistance and spalling resistance under a reduced pressure to the cylindrical part of an arbor, then coating said part with a canning material under the reduced pressure, subjecting this part to plastic working and finally removing the coating material. CONSTITUTION:The powders 11, 11' for forming a thermally sprayed layer 6 are housed in powder feeders 9, 9' and further, a coating material 14 for coating the roll stock is housed in a powder feeder 13. After the inside of the device is reduced in pressure, a thermally spraying torch 8 is moved upward and downward as shown by arrows (b) and the thermally sprayed layer 6 and the coating material layer part are formed by using gaseous Ar/H2 under the reduced pressure. The powder supply is thereafter stopped and the coating material surfaces is heated to melt by the flame of the thermally spraying torch; thereafter, the surface is subjected to swaging under heating and the scanning material part is removed by lathing. The material is then subjected to a prescribed heat treatment and the product is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the dispersion of a superconductive characteristic by melting the row material of an oxide superconductor with oxygen blowing, making the raw material quenchably solidified, then applying a heat treatment in an oxygen atmosphere, and making wire drawing while filled into a metallic pipe. CONSTITUTION:An oxide system superconductive material is mixed so that, for instance, each oxide of Y2O3, BaO, and CuO has the ratio of Y:Ba:Cu=1:2:3 in the mole ratio, and melted and maintained at 1550 deg.C in a melting furnace having an oxygen blowing function. A sufficient oxygen is uniformly supplied with an excessive oxygen made to be enriched and quenched in the melted state (retragonal system). By the way, an oxygen quantity in melting and maintaining mentioned above is 1.0kg/cm and a flow rate is 5l/min., quenching produces a quenched powder by double belt method. Then the powder is heat treated in an oxygen atmosphere at 850-950 deg.C, filled into a silver pipe having an outer diameter of 1mm and an inner diameter of 0.6mm, and a wire drawing process is made.

    • PURPOSE:To form a sound ingot without any defect, such as V segregation and micro-porosity, etc., by arranging a bottom plate for mold set and the lower part of the mold as possible to cool and insulating heat of the upper part of the mold. CONSTITUTION:The mold set is laid on the water cooling bottom plate 1 having a water supplying hole 8 and a water exhausting hole 9, and consists of the water cooling lower part mold 2 having a water supplying hole 10 and a water exhausting hole 11, and the upper part mold fitting the heat insulating board 5. After pouring molten steel in this set, the heat insulating material 6 is covered. On the each size of the total mold height H, the height of the heat insulating board 5 part at the upper part of the mold is to be H/10, and the height of the lower part mold 2 is to be H/2-H/4, and is this example, it is H/3. In this way, the solidifying zone, which accelerates the development of defects at the position of 90-240cm from the ingot bottom conventionally is vanished and also the accelerating solidifying phenomenon, at the ingot top part is vanished, because of the heat insulation, and so the sound ingot without any defect, such as V segregation etc., is formed.
