    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of accidents such as short circuits and burning and to improve reliability by molding high voltage diodes with a flame retardant resin. CONSTITUTION:A flame-retardant epoxy-resin molded part 2 is formed so as to mold a high voltage diode 1 constituting a half-wave voltage doubler rectifier circuit and a high voltage diode 1 which is provided for blocking discharge current from a penetrating capacitor for magnetron all together. The thickness of the molding is determined so as to withstand a high voltage which is applied on the high voltage diodes 1. In this configuration, heat generated in elements is uniformly diffused, and cooling from the surrounding part is uniformly performed. Such points are considered. When the high voltage diode 1 is individually soldered on a printed board and used, an exposed lead 3. tends to become a discharge source in a conventional device. Since the lead 3 is molded in present invention, discharge is not generated. A distance between terminals 4 and a grounding lead 5 is sufficiently long, and discharge is hard to occur. Insulating property around the high voltage diodes in an adverse using environment is improved, and a highly reliable high frequency heating apparatus is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to restrict abnormal heating of a coil of a filter by detecting a larger high frequency voltage generated at the time of abnormality where a capacitor connected with the transformer side for a low pass filter is broken to be open and stopping opening/closing action of a switching mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A means 12 for detecting a terminal voltage of capacitors 4, 5 connected with the transformer side of a low pass filter and a means 11 for determining if a detected voltage value is normal or abnormal are provided, and when it is determined to be abnormal, a generation circuit 10 is stopped. When the capacitors 4, 5 are normal, a high frequency voltage between the capacitor terminals is not large if high frequency current is going, but if the capacitors are broken and open, a large high frequency voltage appears between the capacitor terminals. In case the detected high frequency voltage value is over a predetermined standard value, it is determined to be abnormal (where the capacitors are broken and open), and opening/closing action of a switching mechanism 7 of an inverter circuit is stopped. Abnormal heating and burn of a coil can thus be prevented preliminarily.

    • PURPOSE:To stabilize electric power supply to a heater and eliminate a choke coll by specifying a degree of coupling between an input winding and an auxiliary power supply, between an anode winding and a heater winding, between the input winding and the anode winding and between the input winding and the heater winding, respectively in a transformer. CONSTITUTION:A degree of coupling is taken at 0.9 or more between the input winding of a transformer 5 and the winding of an auxiliary power supply for a control circuit 2 and the like to drive a switching element 3, and between an anode winding and a heater winding, respectively. Also, a degree of coupling is taken at 0.7 or below between the input winding and the anode winding, and between the input winding and the heater winding, respectively. More concretely, a two-leg core is used as the magnetic core of the transformer 5. And the input winding and the auxiliary power supply winding are applied to one of the two legs, and the anode winding and the heater winding are applied to the other leg. Or an E-E core is used and the intermediate leg of one E-core is applied with the input winding and the auxiliary power supply winding, while the anode winding and the heater winding are applied to the intermediate leg of the other E-core. In this case, leak inductance due to rough coupling is used as a substitute for a choke coll, thereby enabling the elimination of the choke coil.
