    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly execute congestion control by generating promptly an RM cell added with congestion information in a communication equipment in which congestion occurs, and transmitting it to a communication terminal or the communication equipment transmitting a cell to be the factor of cell buffer congestion. SOLUTION: When the quantity of inter-device cells accumulated in cell buffers 2a, 2b exceeds a threshold, the congestion is judged to have occurred, and a cell buffer detecting part 3 detects the identifier of the cell buffer in which the congestion occurred, and reports it to line dealing with parts 100a, 100b. Cell buffer identifier-to- received cell header information retrieving parts 5a, 5b generate newly a congestion reporting RM cell having the same VPI and VCI as the VPI snf VCI of the detected identifier in the header. Selector parts 7a, 7b receive the control of the information retrieving parts 5a, 5b, and insert the congestion reporting RM cell into the transmission cell, and output it to interfaces 300a, 300b, and transmit it directly to a cell transmitting origin making the congestion. Thus, response time till the communication terminal or the communication equipment transmitting the congestion factor cell slows down transmission cell speed is shortened.

    • PURPOSE:To use a relay line for general talking and a fault transfer line in common without provision of an adaptor to each relay station by connecting the fault transfer line from an unattended station to a maintenance in charge station with connection processing by a telephone number and transferring fault information. CONSTITUTION:When a fault information transfer circuit 6 of a station 15 subjected to maintenance detects a fault, a transmission control circuit 5 starts a relay station 16 to connect a fault information receiver 13 of a maintenance in charge station 17 via a relay station 16 similarly to the case with a general channel. Then the fault information receiver 13 reaches a state similar to a reply of a general talking and the reply signal is sent to a transmission control circuit of the station subjected to maintenance similarly to the case with a general talking. Upon the receipt of a reply signal, the transmission control circuit 5 connects a channel to a fault information transfer circuit 5 to make communication between the fault information transfer circuit 6 and the fault information receiver 13. Thus, a relay line for general talking and the fault transfer circuit are used in common without provision of a special means for fault transfer to the relay station 16.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a display to match an actual road by a handy means by judging whether a peripheral road data of the current position read out of a map data coincides with a correction road data read in a semiconductor memory. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic processing section 5 reads a peripheral road data of the current position out of a CD-ROM 6 to be sent to display device 7 following a data conversion. A moving speed and an ongoing bearing of a vehicle are supplied to the arithmetic processing section 5 from a vehicle sensor 1 and a bearing sensor 2. The arithmetic processing section 5 determines the current position of the vehicle from the data obtained and displays it superimposed with a road displayed on a display device 7. When the peripheral road data of the current position read out of the CD-ROM 6 differs from an actual road, for example, correction information of a road is written into a semiconductor memory 4 from a scan switch 3. The arithmetic processing section 5 judges whether an area of a data for correction read out from a memory 4 coincides with that of the peripheral road data of the current position to project correct road information to the display device 7 by a correction processing of a road data.
