摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the in-pile structure from being damaged due to flow vibration by lowering a position of a reactor core shroud support leg from the lower end of a control rod guide tube, and expanding its breadth by that portion. CONSTITUTION:First of all, as for reactor water of a downcomer part 12 between a pressure vessel 4 and a wall of a reactor core shroud 5, a suction flow 9 is pressurized by an internal pump 6, becomes a discharge flow 10 from an opening part of a reactor core shroud support leg 5a and flows into a reactor. Also, a coolant flows as an almost orthogonal flow to the outermost peripheral part of a control rod driving mechanism housing 3, and thereafter, ascends along a control rod guide tube 2, and also, goes into a fuel assembly at the upper part. Subsequently, a position of the support leg 5a is lowered from the lower end of the guide tube 2, and also, the discharge flow from the pump is set to a downward flow, therefore, an edge shape is used for the support leg 5a shape roughly in parallel to the lower specular surface. In such a way, an interval of the support leg 5a is expanded by a portion for lowering the support leg 5a, and by setting an opening area being equal to a conventional one, an average flow velocity of the discharge flow 10 is held roughly uniformly in the same way as heretofore.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve reliability regarding flow vibration by arranging shroud support legs at least at center parts between adjoining circulating pumps. CONSTITUTION:Shroud support legs 19 are arranged with the same interval at fronts of internal pumps 2 and at intermediate parts of the adjoining internal pumps 2. With this arrangement, a colliding flow from the intermediate part of the adjoining pumps 2 is interfered to flow in, by the shroud support legs 19, and consequently flows in from opening parts of shroud support leg siding to the legs 19 and therewith the flow does not hit directly a housing 15 of a control rod drive mechanism, and the like. Consequently, reliability regarding flow vibrating of a structure is much improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To detach a guide rod out of a nuclear reactor and to prevent the guide rod from approaching a main steam nozzle by providing a slit on the side surface of the guide rod of a nuclear reactor, and guiding a guide rod bracket. CONSTITUTION:A slit 19 is provided on the side surface of the pipe-shaped guide rod. The upper part of the slit 19 is used as a guide rod bracket holding part 20 with broad width, and by using the slit 19 and guiding a guide rod bracket 8, the guide rod can be vertically moved. Thus, since the guide rod can be detached out of the nuclear reactor, the guide rod of the internal pump- type nuclear reactor can be prevented from approaching the main steam nozzle.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent an increase of pressure drop without losing the reinforcing effect by reinforcing beams by installing a gap, many holes or windows to the flow passage around the inflow port of a control rod guide pipe inserted between the reinforcing beams to expand the flow passage. CONSTITUTION:The reactor coolant flowing into the control rod guide pipe 6 from an inflow port 5 thereof passes upward toward the orifice of a fuel supporting fitting 7. While the one beam 4 of the orthogonal reinforcing beams 3, 4 has the height up to the rear face of a core supporting plate 2, the other beam 3 is lowered in the height to form the gap 11 to allow passage of the reactor coolant between the top end thereof and the supporting plate 2. An equally good alternative is to form both the beams 3, 4 to the height reaching the supporting plate 2 and to provide the many holes 9 allowing the passage of the reactor coolant to the one beam 4 or both the beams 3, 4. Further, provision of the square windows 10 allowing the passage of the reactor coolant in the upper area of the height of the beams 3, 4 to one or both of the beams is equally good.

Thus, water stagnated at a gap construction between the rod and the sleeve 2 is caused to flow without impairing the function and strength of the shroud head bolt. This can eliminate a sludge existing in the gap to cause a corrosion, thereby reducing an possible potential of a clevis SCC.
