    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively prevent tape edges from damaged by providing a structure in which a projecting having a diameter nearly equal to or slightly smaller than that of a roller diameter on the roller side of an upper or a lower flange. SOLUTION: A tape 1 winds around a roller 4 to the extent of a prescribed angle and regulates the height of the tape 1 by supporting it on the back of an upper flange 2. The roller 4 is slidable in the upper and lower directions, so a clearance (c) appears between the roller 4 and the lower surface of the upper flange 2. A projecting part 2a is set so as to have a diameter nearly equal to or a little smaller than the diameter of the roller 4; consequently in the case that the tape 1 comes to get into the clearance (c) owing to bending of an end part of the tape 1 of the side submitting to regulation of height according to the regulation by the upper flange 2, from a condition of usual running without coming into contact with the projecting part 2a, the projecting part 2a of the upper flange 2 plays a role of a support in the direction of thickness and prevents intrusion of the tape.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the number of tape guides down to a required min. by allowing both of a tape traveling surface between a supply reel and a drum advance side tape guide and a tape traveling surface between a take-up side tape guide and a take-up reel to form twisted curvilinear surfaces. SOLUTION: The tape traveling route from the supply reel 2 to a tension pin 6 has the state twisted at a prescribed angle with a tape center line. The center height of the tape 4 delivered from the supply reel 2 and the height of the tape entering the tension pin 6, when the winding diameters of the tapes wound on the supply reel 2 and the take-up reel 3 are approximately equal, are set at approximately the same height on the basis of a chassis 5. The tape traveling route from the tension pin 6 to the advance side tape guide 7 has the state of twisting the tension pin 6 at the prescribed angle with the tape center line. At this time, the tape traveling route on the drum 8 advance side is approximately determined by the posture (angle of inclination and inclination direction) of the tension pin 6.

    • PURPOSE:To supply a constant quantity of light to a photodetecting element and also to place the photodetecting element to an optional position, by installing a prism to a chassis instead of a turntable, and also providing a passive reflector. CONSTITUTION:Holes 7, 8 are provided a little inside of records of 30cm and 17cm in disk diameters on a turntable 3, and a prism 4 and a passive reflector 5 are installed onto a chassis 9. When a 30cm-disk is placed, both the holes 7, 8 are closed up, and no output is generated to a photodetecting element 6. In case of a 17cm- disk, the hole 7 is opened, a light beam of a light source 1 passes through a part of incidence 15 and the prism 4, reaches the photodetecting element 6, and one pulse is outputted. In case when there is no record on the table 3, the holes 7, 8 are opened, and two pulses are outputted through the passive reflector 5. In this way, size is detected by the number of pulses in a prescribed time. Also, a constant quantity of light is supplied to the photodetecting element 6 since it is not influenced by vibration of the table, and is possible to place an optional position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration and noise of an rotary shaft and to prevent the positioning accuracy of the rotary shaft from being degraded by pressing down the shaft end of the opposite side of the shaft end erected in the base of the rotary shaft of a mechanism transmitting an operation by a gear revolving around the rotary shaft erected in the base with a leaf spring or an elastic body. SOLUTION: The upper end of the rotary shaft 1 of a gear 2 to be rotatingly driven by a belt 4 is pressed down with a leaf spring 3. The shaft end of the leaf spring 3 side of the rotary shaft 1 is made to be a tapered shape and a tapered hole is provided at a position of the leaf spring 3 where is to be brought into contact with the rotary shaft 1 and the opening diameter of the tapered hole of the spring 3 is set to the the middle of the maximum diameter and the minimum diameter of the tapered shape of the shaft end. Thus, the rotary shaft 1 is held without backlash and vibration and noise of the shaft 1 due to the fluctuation of tensile strength of the belt 4 are prevented from occurring and also the positioning accuracy of the shaft 1 is enhanced by pressing down the shaft 1 of the gear 2 with the leaf spring 3.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress a displacement amt. of a rotary shaft and to prevent friction and noise and deterioration of efficiency by holding one end of the rotary shaft in the whole radial direction. CONSTITUTION: An output of a motor is decelerated through a worm 4, a worm wheel 2b, a worm 2c, a worm wheel 5, a spur gear 6 and a spur gear 7, and is transmitted to a magnetic tape moving mechanism. In a holding structure of the rotary shaft 2a in the radial direction, one end of the rotary shaft 2a is held by 1a, 1b, 1c and 1d and in the whole radial direction, and holding positions of holding fulcrums 1a and 1b are deviated in some measure in the direction of the rotary shaft, thus eliminating dimensional backlash in the direction of A at the time of operation after fitting the rotary shaft 2a. In a holding structure of this rotary shaft 2a in the thrust direction, both ends of the rotary shaft 2a are borne by 1h and 1i. Then, the other end is held by 1e, 1f and 1g and in the radial direction other than the A direction, and is free in only one direction of the A direction (in the direction of meshing with the worm on the upstream side). Consequently, the still one end of the rotary shaft 2a can be set up in the direction from A.
