    • PURPOSE:To make a thin wall without producing any cracks caused by urethane foam agent for an inner box material of a refrigerator and enable a less- expensive box of refrigerator through a reduction of amount of urethane foam agent to be produced by a method wherein a surface contacting with a foam thermal insulating material of the inner box is formed by acrylonitryl-butadiene- styrene copolymer resin having butadiene rubber particle diameter specified. CONSTITUTION:A particle diameter of butadiene rubber of ABS resin used as an inner box material is set more than 3mum. In this case, since an added amount of butadiene rubber in ABS resin has a specified amount, it is possible to cause a surface area of butadiene rubber particle to be less than one third. Trichlormonofluoromethane (R-11) acting as foaming agent of urethane foam thermal insulation material is absorbed in butadiene rubber in ABS resin. As its absorbing amount is increased, some cracks are generated by a chemical attack. However, its absorbing amount can be reduced if the butadiene rubber particle surface area is decreased, ABS resin having a large butadiene rubber particle diameter may act to prevent the chemical attack and even if the inner box material 1 is made to have a thin wall, there may not occur any cracks at all.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce a cost by coating a surface of an inner case in contact with a foam heat insulator with a primer obtained by mixing an acrylic resin with a chlorinated polypropylene, and diluting the mixture with toluene, thereby using a chlorinated styrol resin or olefin resin of a low cost as a material of the inner case. CONSTITUTION: Since a primer 7 obtained by mixing an acrylic resin with a chlorinated polypropylene and diluting the mixture with toluene is excellent in chemical resistance of the acrylic resin, it is operated to prevent a chemical attack of trichlorofluoromethane mixed with a polyurethane foam 8. Further, the toluene used as a dilute agent expedites chemical etching of the chlorinated styrol resin and the olefin resin, and hence its physical bonding force is enhanced, and since it is strong in volatility, it can be treated at the ambient temperature in a short time, and hence the chlorinated styrol resin of a material of the inner case, the olefin resin, polyurethane foam are strongly adhered via the primer obtained by mixing the acrylic resin with the chlorinated polypropylene, and hence a strength of the case is not lowered.
