摘要： Provided in the ground, at a considerable depth, is a duct into which there flows rainwater from flood-regulating ducts, pipelines and rivers, through vertical shafts. The pumping shaft of a pumping station is connected to the downstream end of the underground duct. Water flowing into the pumping shaft is delivered by a pump to a discharge tank. All in all, the pump is arranged on a central water level of the underground duct. The lowest water level LWL which permits a discharge is the central water level of the underground duct. The installation may operate with open duct flow and closed duct flow. In the case of open duct-flow operation, the water level of the underground duct is kept at the lowest water level LWL. In the closed duct-flow operation, the underground duct is filled with water, it being possible for the water level in the vertical shafts to rise. By changing an outflow factor in accordance with a precipitation pattern, the quantity flowing into the vertical shafts can be accurately determined, with the result that the water-discharge installation arranged at a considerable depth beneath the ground can be operated in a stable manner.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a gas turbine when a horizontal shaft type drain pump is replaced. SOLUTION: The horizontal shaft pump has a one-shaft type gas turbine 1 whose output shaft is disposed in the horizontal direction and reduction gears 2 with an input shaft 14 connected to the output shaft of the gas turbine via a gear coupling 13A. A gear 15 is attached to the input shaft, and the gear and a gear 17B of an auxiliary drive shaft 16B are engaged with each other. The auxiliary drive shaft 16B is the output shaft of a fluid coupling 18, and the output shaft of the fluid coupling is another intermediate shaft 20C. The output from the intermediate shaft is transmitted to the output shaft 23 of the reduction gears to which the drain pump is finally connected via plural intermediate shafts.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the construction cost of underground drainage facilities of great depth by installing the bottom face level of a water absorbing tank between the lower reaches end of the underground channel and the ground surface, installing a drainage pump in a shallower place in the ground than the upper end position of the lower reaches end of the underground channel and suppressing the maximum head of the drainage pump. SOLUTION: An underground channel 1 is buried in a deep place in the ground, and water from a discharge channel, a ditch, a river 5, and the like is made to flow into this underground channel 1 through vertical piles 2. The lower reaches end of the underground channel 1 is communicated with a pump well of a pump field, and inflow water is drained to a discharge water tank 8 by a pump 7. A large capacity water absorbing tank 61 is provided between the pump well 6 and the pump 7 of underground drainage facilities of great depth for performing closed channel operation so s to reduce the risk of overflowing from the underground channel 1 to the ground by storage effect and to reduce the diameter of the underground channel 1. Stable operation of the underground drainage facilities of great depth in closed channel operation can be performed by the storage effect of the water absorbing tank 61. The construction cost of the underground drainage facilities of great depth can therefore be reduced.
